The Institute of Continuing Legal Education in Georgia has an opening for an Associate Director. Applicants must have a law degree, be a member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia, and have at least five years of legal experience. Applicants should have a strong interest in continuing legal education. Salary is negotiable.
This position is responsible for the planning, development, and presentation of over one-third of the approximately 180 continuing legal education programs produced by the Institute. One hundred percent of the position’s time is devoted to program development and execution. This position requires the ability to handle a substantial number of assignments simultaneously and to meet deadlines. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work with volunteers are essential. Extensive in-state travel is required.
The applicant must work with the 28 member Board of Trustees, the Deans of the five accredited law schools in the State, and the officers of the State Bar of Georgia, as well as chairpersons of 48 sections of the Bar and program chairpersons.
