This program highlights the major changes in Georgia evidence rules brought about by the adoption of the Georgia Evidence Code. The program will focus on the most commonly encountered evidentiary issues in civil and criminal trials and will provide illustrations of the proper way to insure that critical evidence is successfully introduced. The program will also focus on the most appropriate way to object to inadmissible evidence. Major topics will include business records and summaries, impeachment, privileges, and major exceptions to the hearsay rule.
