K.I.S.S.
Keep it Short and Simple...and Other Trial Tips

RECORDED NOVEMBER 13, 2015

Archived Webcast

K.I.S.S. is one of ICLE’s most successful trial practice programs. This fast-paced, no-nonsense, comprehensive seminar is a realistic and practical overview of trial practice—from jury selection and opening statement to closing argument.

Drawing on his 44 years of experience trying cases, Jeff Bogart will share tips and techniques that you will be able to use to your client’s advantage in your next trial.

David Lefkowitz, who specializes in the area of Malpractice and Legal Ethics, will show ways to minimize risk and maximize protection.

Paul Milich, Professor of Law at Georgia State University College of Law, will share interesting provisions of the evidence code.

Art Harris, two-time Emmy winner, former Pulitzer Prize nominee at the Washington Post, and investigative journalist for a host of outfits...from ET to Swift Justice and recently recruited by CBS affiliate Channel 46 as investigative reporter… talks about how to use narrative storytelling to win richer, faster settlements at mediation and never go to trial.

Finally, one of Georgia’s distinguished trial judges, Robert McBurney of the Fulton County Superior Court, will share his perspective on what trial attorneys can do to maximize their efforts in motions, bench and jury trials.
