Nursing home abuse litigation is a highly specialized practice area, even within the medical malpractice arena.  This seminar will provide you the basic tools you need to handle nursing home cases and warn you of some of the pitfalls.  You will learn everything from the numerous types of documents you will need to properly evaluate a nursing home case, the necessary experts you will need to file a nursing home case and all the different types of rules and regulations you will need to be aware of.  There are also several hurdles to overcome to get from evaluation to payment, which you need to be aware of, such as problems obtaining the records, probate issues, low or no insurance for the nursing home, and difficulty in proving wrongful death damages for an elderly person who was not in good health.
